Monty Hall problem

I’ve initially heard this problem from my ex-gf Lexy, and then I found it on the site of Merilyn (known for her Guinness record for the highest IQ). The problem truly boggles the mind because its seemingly trite answer that demands to be voiced out (obviously a wrong answer :)) managed to beguile even the most astute PhD students from world’s best universities.
